Executive - Dye House Based at Thulhiriya Strategically located within Sri Lanka’s Industrial Zone in Thulhiriya, TEXO is a fabric processing mill, offering value adding services such as dyeing, finishing and printing of cotton-based fabrics to global brands. Along with TEXO’s capability of providing customized orders, this MAS owned entity also benefits from the cost and sustainability advantage of being located within the MAS Fabric Park. Embark on a journey of change with MAS, by joining the Texo – Thulhriya team as an executive dye house. The individual is responsible for addressing dyeing issues, such as off-color or uneven shadings, and ensuring consistent results through accurate and timely actions, as well as training in chargers and new technology. Key Responsibilities: Involve in the dyeing related issues making solutions for Dyeing Issues such as off color, uneven, shadings by following the accurate and timely actions to achieve consistent dyeing results Effectively monitor and make decisions for the color rejections, redyeing, rewashing through the visual inspection, testing and other relevant measurements to ensure that the dyed fabrics meets the quality standards. Training the in chargers, new TM and support for the dyeing process to ensure that the process is consistent and accurate. Following up before & after 1st bulk evaluation process. Follow up Preventive Maintenance Schedule and involve with machine breakdowns Training the in chargers, new TM and support for the dyeing process to ensure that the process is consistent and accurate Align with all company Health, Safety and Sustainability Policies and 5S guidelines. Knowledge and Skills: Degree in Textile and Apparel engineering 1 -2 years of experience in similar capacity Good Communication skills Good knowledge in fabrics and yarn
Responsibilities
The individual will address dyeing issues such as off-color or uneven shadings and ensure consistent results through accurate actions. They will also train in-chargers and new team members to support the dyeing process.
