ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Executive Editorial Assistant to support our Editor-in-Chief and assist in the day-to-day operations of our publication. This role blends administrative assistance with editorial coordination—helping ensure our editorial team runs smoothly, deadlines are met, and content is delivered with excellence.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Editorial Support

  • Assist the Editor-in-Chief with daily scheduling, email management, and priority tracking.
  • Coordinate with writers, photographers, and contributors to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Support content planning and editorial calendar management.
  • Conduct basic research and fact-checking when needed.

Content Coordination & Material Collection

  • Organize and track incoming editorial materials.
  • Reach out to photographers and collect, catalog, and manage photo assets.
  • Liaise with freelance writers and contributors to secure articles, interviews, and supporting materials.
  • Assist in arranging and documenting editorial meetings.

Administrative & Communication Tasks

  • Schedule and coordinate meetings for the editorial team.
  • Prepare briefing notes for the Editor-in-Chief ahead of interviews, events, or meetings.
  • Maintain organized filing systems for editorial documents and digital assets.
  • Act as a point of contact for external contributors and partners.
