Description

KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES To carry out plant safety inspection and to observe physical condition, work practices and procedures followed by workers and render advise for removing unsafe conditions & unsafe acts by employees. Issuing confined space entry / hot work permits and follow up for strict compliance of permit system. Maintaining hydrant system and sprinkler system in operation condition and maintain records. Maintenance to be carried out as per schedule for all safety appliances. Taking round of plant and observing unsafe condition and unsafe act and ensure its compliance . Training to contract employees To organize calibration of inspection measuring and test equipment and ensure their fitness for use. To keep a track / records of departmental activities. Keeping all safety equipment’s in working condition. Pollution prevention and waste minimization program, managing and organizing safe disposal of hazardous waste
