KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Develop and lead the team to maintain a Total Productive Maintenance framework to facilitate the efficient/ optimum use of below areas, ensuring maximum returns to the organization. * Drive Planned maintenance framework in the facility and support and take initiatives of Autonomous maintenance framework. * Allocate and schedule work for the day considering effective resource allocation together with chief mechanic to meet priorities/ requirements. * Provide all technical feedback with regards to machinery, maintenance/ breakdowns and ensure that they function as per organizational expectations. * Oversee and ensure that the level of machinery spare parts is maintained at the minimum stipulated level in order to guarantee the availability of same facilitating un-interrupted operations. * Drive QCO initiatives in order to enhance the machine availability to cater higher number (35 style changeovers) of daily product changeovers. * Oversee and support to carry out continuous time, method and process studies etc. through problem identification/solving tools and techniques. * Oversee the operations of the Engineering team whilst coordinating with service providers for regular maintenance of machinery, equipment, electrical and furniture fittings. * Attend development meetings and provide technical input to finalize matters pertaining to machinery, sewing techniques, settings and attachments. * Conduct trainings for mechanics on technical skills such as Electrical, Mechanical, new Technology, safety etc. in an accurate manner. * Ensure effective implementation of MAS road map on ZDHC (Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals) aligning with MAS Chemical Management Road Map. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS * Degree in Engineering or relevant field. * 2-3 years of experience.  * Having the idea on Health Safety standards including risk assessment methods.
Responsibilities
The Executive - Engineering will lead the maintenance team to implement Total Productive Maintenance frameworks and ensure optimal machinery performance. They are responsible for resource allocation, spare parts management, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to support high-volume production changeovers.
