Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
As a Field Account Representative, you will be the face of the brand in your territory - driving sales growth, strengthening retail partnerships, and ensuring Adidas is showcased in-store with excellence. Through collaboration, training, and brand advocacy, you will help bring adidas products and stories to life for consumers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with retail staff and store managers.
  • Execute seasonal product launches, campaigns, and marketing initiatives in partner stores.
  • Ensure premium in-store execution across merchandising, product layout, and stock levels.
  • Train and inspire retail partners on adidas product technologies, stories, and benefits.
  • Share field insights with Adidas teams on market trends, competitors, and store performance.
  • Drive sell-through via activations, events, and impactful training sessions.
  • Uphold brand standards across all retail environments.
  • Monitor performance metrics and collaborate with internal teams to exceed KPIs.

Key Tasks:

Functional:

  • Build trusted partnerships with retail staff and managers across your territory.
  • Execute seasonal strategies to maximise visibility and sell-through.
  • Oversee visual merchandising standards, stock levels, and product presentation.
  • Deliver product knowledge sessions highlighting key innovations and benefits.
  • Act as the eyes and ears of the market - providing feedback on trends, competition, and consumer behaviour.
  • Champion the adidas brand by ensuring consistency in every retail touchpoint.

Sales & Performance:

  • Track and analyse store sales data to identify growth opportunities and risks.
  • Collaborate with internal sales and merchandising teams to achieve account goals.
  • Deliver impactful training to boost partner staff knowledge and selling confidence.

Market Intelligence:

  • Monitor and report on competitor activities and emerging retail trends.
  • Provide actionable insights from the field to inform product and commercial strategy.

Brand Advocacy & Training:

  • Be a true brand ambassador - knowledgeable, authentic, and passionate.
  • Lead engaging product and brand training sessions to elevate retail partner expertise.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and sustain relationships.
  • Commercial mindset with proven ability to influence sales performance.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both in-person and virtual.
  • Solid understanding of retail operations, merchandising, and consumer behaviour.
  • Self-motivated with strong organisational and time-management abilities.
  • Analytical thinker with confidence in interpreting data and translating insights into actions.
  • Passion for sports, lifestyle, and the adidas brand.

Requisite Education & Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
  • 2–4 years of experience in retail account management, field sales, or a related commercial role.
  • Proven track record in driving sales growth and delivering against KPIs.
  • Experience delivering training or product presentations to retail staff.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and CRM tools.
  • Flexibility to travel regularly within assigned territory.
