Executive ‐ Finance (BASED AT PELAWATTA) Linea Aqua is a swimwear manufacturer, established as a joint venture between MAS Holdings and Speedo International in 2001. Linea Aqua operates across Sri Lanka and Vietnam, and in addition to swimwear, also offers activewear solutions to select customers, providing a comprehensive service across performance and lifestyle categories. Along with servicing its joint venture partner, Speedo, the company also services premier international brands such as In Private, Aerie, and Land’s End, and is the go-to manufacturer for high-performance swimwear worn by Olympic athletes. Empower transformation by becoming a driving force of change at MAS. We are on the lookout for a dedicated individual to execute the purchasing & the foreign currency processes of SBU in order to ensure relevant payments are made accurately in a timely manner that would assist in building a good vendor relationship. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Prepare General Ledger entries and provisions on time for a better reflection on the transactions to the shareholders. Arrange for Interest cost budget achievement, take actions to reduce cost. Collect information and report to the banks on time. Arrange for fund transfers and borrowings for the plant. Coordinate the payments with Vietnam plants. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS Degree in Finance or related discipline in CIMA, ACCA or CA. Minimum 1‐ 3 years’ experience in a similar role. Strong / effective communication skills.
Responsibilities
Prepare General Ledger entries and provisions on time to reflect transactions accurately. Coordinate payments and fund transfers with Vietnam plants and manage interest cost budget achievement.
