Description
Accounting for Income & Assets Prepare and review journal entries for income and assets Reconcile income accounts and ensure alignment with supporting records and custodian statements, where applicable. Monitor and analyse income trends across products and asset classes (e.g., bonds, equities, private equity). Ensure compliance with MFRS reporting standards and internal accounting policy and procedures. Monthly Closing & Reporting Assist in month-end closing activities, including accruals, reconciliations, and variance analysis. Support preparation of annual financial statements and internal management reports. Coordinate with internal and external auditors during quarterly and annual reviews. Budgeting & Forecasting Collaborate in the development of budgets and forecasts. Analyse actual vs. budget performance and provide insights to management. Support scenario modelling and sensitivity analysis for income returns and projection. Business Partnering Act as a finance liaison to other business users and department, providing financial insights and support for decision-making. Participate in discussions and provide accounting input on new products or strategies. Assist in evaluating the financial impact of new products and investment proposals and transactions.   Requirements Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field; professional certification (e.g., ACCA, ICAEW, MICPA-CAANZ) is a plus. 3–5 years of relevant experience in audit and assurance and/or financial reporting. Strong understanding of financial instruments and accounting standards (MFRS/IFRS). Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial systems (e.g., SAP) Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
