Job Description
The Finance Department is responsible for the financial aspects of the firm. It records operating transactions, provides essential financial and accounting information necessary to make various decisions; and prepares financial statements that inform management and regulators about the firm’s financial results and position.
The Finance team also assists to ensure that transactions recorded comply with the internal controls and policies of the firm.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum Diploma in Accountancy, with 2–3 years of experience managing the full spectrum of General Ledger functions.
  • Strong knowledge of financial principles, regulations and superb analytical skills.
  • Proactive team player who is meticulous, self-motivated, resourceful and willing to embrace challenges.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to communicate articulately and efficiently with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • A keen eye for details and exceptional follow-up skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications and SAP accounting software.

Responsibilities
  • Support in ensuring timely and accurate closing of financial statements.
  • Prepare balance sheet and profit & loss schedules for statutory audits.
  • Assist in analytical review of business performance.
  • Prepare journal entries for accruals, provisions and other adjustments.
  • Compile corporate tax schedules and assist in GST reporting.
  • Collaborate with external parties, including auditors and corporate secretaries.
  • Contribute to automation projects aimed at improving efficiency.
  • Fulfil any additional responsibilities as assigned.
