Job Description We are seeking a highly experienced and strategically minded Executive Housekeeper to join our hotel's leadership team. In this essential role, you will be responsible for the professional and cost-effective running of the housekeeping department, with a focus on achieving high standards of cleanliness for guest rooms, public areas and back of house areas. Reporting to the Director of Operations, as an Executive Housekeeper, your responsibilities will include: Supervising and leading the housekeeping team in partnership with an outsourced provider who will look after recruitment and training. Oversee inventory management, including ordering and replenishing guest supplies, linen and towelling. Coordinate with other departments, such as Front Desk and Maintenance, to address guest requests and maintenance issues promptly. Ensure that all public areas are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards of quality and presentation. Ensure that all housekeeping team members adhere to safety and sanitation regulations, including proper handling and storage of cleaning chemicals. Monitor and control departmental expenses to ensure adherence to budgetary guidelines. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience: Proven experience in a similar high-paced role. Strong leadership attributes. Clear communication to lead and develop the Housekeeping Team. Positive stakeholder management with the ability to collaborate with multiple departments. A solutions-focused individual with a strategic mindset and the ability to think proactively. Excellent attention to detail and delivery of quality. Problem solving skills to ensure the day runs smoothly.
