Job Description As Executive Housekeeper, you’ll play a pivotal role in leading and motivating our housekeeping team to provide guests with a truly memorable experience. We’re looking for someone who not only has a keen eye for detail and a passion for cleanliness but also has a genuine ability to inspire, mentor, and develop a team of housekeeping professionals. You’ll be responsible for ensuring that our rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas reflect the high standards of a luxury property, while fostering a positive, collaborative team culture. This is a leadership role with a strong focus on people management, and we’re looking for someone who thrives on developing others, creating a supportive environment, and driving team success. Key Responsibilities: Lead, inspire, and mentor a team of housekeeping staff, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, professionalism, and service across all areas of the hotel. Develop and implement effective training programs to help your team members grow in their roles and advance their careers. Foster a positive and inclusive team culture, where collaboration, respect, and a passion for delivering outstanding service are at the forefront. Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces, ensuring all areas meet the luxury standards expected by our guests. Manage housekeeping operations, including rostering, performance management, and development of team members. Handle guest complaints and special requests with professionalism, turning every challenge into an opportunity to exceed guest expectations. Oversee inventory and ordering of housekeeping supplies, linen, uniforms and equipment, ensuring cost-efficiency while maintaining quality. Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, maintaining a safe and clean environment for both guests and staff. Qualifications Proven experience in a leadership role within housekeeping, preferably in a luxury hotel environment. A natural people leader with the ability to motivate, develop, and inspire a diverse team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships across all hotel departments. A positive, can-do attitude, and a commitment to creating a supportive and enjoyable work environment. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. A passion for guest service and an unwavering commitment to delivering outstanding experiences. Experience in managing budgets, inventory, and resources effectively.
