 The Crowne Plaza Indianapolis Airport is searching for an Executive Housekeeper to be part of our hotel team.    The Executive Housekeeper will deliver the best in service, quality and value to every customer, every time. They will maintain customer satisfaction as the driving philosophy of the Housekeeping Department, personally demonstrate a commitment to customer service by responding promptly to guest needs, ensure your staff, including all new hires, are trained and meet standards, and empower the housekeeping staff to deliver customer service by encouraging and rewarding responsive guest assistance and consistent cleanliness.    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Demonstrate positive leadership, which inspires employees to meet and exceed standards. * Maintain inventory of guestroom and housekeeping supplies including all month-end inventory. * Maintain physical product standards by routinely inspecting rooms, public areas and laundry facilities to ensure proper working condition and departmental supplies are stocked at proper levels. * Cleaning and Inspecting Guest Rooms as needed. * Work with the General Manager and Director of Operations on analyzing financial and operating information on an ongoing basis in order to adjust labor, supplies, materials, and other costs to achieve budget. * Manage functions including recruiting, interviewing, selection, training, performance reviews, pay and recognition programs to maintain a skilled and motivated workforce. * Emphasize training and development as a way of doing business in order to empower employees to successfully perform their jobs. * Ensure employees fully understand performance standards, review process, and reward successes. * Manage safety program to protect guests and employees and which meets OSHA requirement. * Submit work orders to the maintenance department on a timely basis and follow up to ensure completion. * Manage security procedures such as key control and lost and found. * Monitors payroll and hours. * Assures property operation meets internal audit/Brand Standards. * Coordinate with General Manager, Director of Operations and Chief Engineer in the repair and maintenance program as related to guestrooms and public areas. * Works with the General Manager and Director of Operations to complete reports (forecasts, annual budgets, action plans etc.). * Follow through on guest complaints and requests regarding room services and ensure the appropriate follow-up with guests. * Purchase all basic cleaning supplies, linen, and equipment. * Perform all other duties as assigned by the General Manager.  JOB REQUIREMENTS * Previous housekeeping management experience is required. * Previous experience in a similar position or within a hotel preferred. * Excellent communication skills both verbal and non-verbal. * Guest service-oriented demeanor is required.
