POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Executive Housekeeper to lead our high performing housekeeping team. This role is responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, comfort, and presentation throughout the hotel. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about creating memorable guest experiences.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 3 years of housekeeping management experience in a hotel setting.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Proficiency in housekeeping systems and Opera.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional guest service.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in a boutique or lifestyle hotel environment.
  • Knowledge of IHG brand standards is a plus.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish or English/Somali) is a plus.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations of the housekeeping department, including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
  • Recruit, train, and manage housekeeping staff, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness standards are met and maintained.
  • Manage inventory and ordering of cleaning supplies, linens, and guest amenities.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest service.
  • Monitor and control labor and supply costs to meet budgetary goals.
  • Respond promptly to guest requests and concerns with professionalism and care.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.
