Executive Housekeeper
As the Executive Housekeeper, you will lead and manage all housekeeping operations to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, guest satisfaction, and brand consistency. You will be responsible for the scheduling, training, supervision, and performance of the housekeeping team while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

What You’ll Do:

  • Create daily occupancy and cleaning schedules based on room status reports
  • Assign housekeeping duties and inspect work to ensure it meets brand and health code standards
  • Oversee guest room and public area cleanliness through daily inspections
  • Ensure timely response to guest requests and special housekeeping needs
  • Maintain and manage inventory levels of linens, cleaning supplies, and required materials
  • Train new staff on policies, safety protocols, cleaning procedures, and equipment usage
  • Work closely with the Front Desk team to update room status and ensure readiness
  • Monitor and manage lost & found procedures
  • Handle guest complaints related to housekeeping promptly and professionally
  • Maintain departmental logs, records, and reports for cleaning schedules and service history
  • Collaborate with the General Manager to review staffing needs and meet budgetary goals
  • Step in to perform cleaning duties when necessary due to staffing or emergency needs

About You:

You are a hands-on leader with strong attention to detail and a passion for hospitality. You thrive in a dynamic environment and take pride in creating a clean, welcoming space for guests and a productive, positive environment for your team. You bring:

  • 3–5 years of housekeeping supervisory experience (hotel or resort preferred)
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Proficiency with housekeeping systems and basic computer programs (Word, Excel, POS)
  • The ability to lead, coach, and inspire a diverse team
  • Fluent English communication skills (Spanish bilingual strongly preferred)
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
  • Physical ability to lift up to 30 lbs and remain on your feet for extended periods
  • A professional, polished appearance and excellent interpersonal skills
  • A calm, solution-oriented approach to high-pressure situations and guest complaints
