OVERVIEW

Studio 6 Extended Stay Hotel in Fort Frances is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Executive Housekeeper to join our opening team. This role is critical to setting and maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction that define our hotel. The Executive Housekeeper will lead the housekeeping department, oversee day-to-day operations, and ensure all areas of the property are welcoming, clean, and well-maintained.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience in a housekeeping leadership role within the hospitality industry preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, safety standards, and housekeeping equipment.
  • Prior experience with hotel openings or establishing housekeeping systems is an asset.
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for both guest and staff interactions.
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: $50,000.00-$52,000.00 per year

Responsibilities
  • Lead, schedule, and supervise the housekeeping team to ensure efficient operations and consistently high-quality service.
  • Implement and oversee daily cleaning schedules and checklists for guest rooms, public spaces, hallways, and back-of-house areas.
  • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and common areas to confirm they meet brand standards.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate staff performance, promoting teamwork and professional growth.
  • Ensure guestrooms are prepared according to standards (including amenities, temperature, TV channels, and clock settings).
  • Monitor and manage housekeeping inventory, including linens, cleaning products, and equipment.
  • Support other departments when operationally needed, especially during peak times.
  • Respond promptly to guest feedback and resolve any cleanliness concerns.
  • Maintain safety and sanitation protocols in compliance with health and safety regulations.
