Job Responsibilities * Interviewing and selecting suitable manual grade workers at the appropriate time, with appropriate traits to ensure that standard cadre is fulfilled to aid the smooth flow of the production * Improve employee motivation by initiating & coordinating employee engagement programs thereby ensuring the retention of competent staff at DPL. * Facilitate  harmonious relations with external stakeholders of the factory by organizing and coordinating social responsibility activities thereby improving the company’s image as a good citizen * Ensure all HR relented compliance including customer audits by ensuring that policies are updated as per the standards * Actively facilitate employee induction programmes thereby enabling the continual improvement of performance of the employees * Maintain IR relationships  and conduct disciplinary inquires and grievance handling of factory staff * Manage labour turnover & absenteeism to develop performance driven culture * Perform additional duties commensurate with the current role, as and when requested by management   Person’s Profile  * A degree preferably relating to Business Management or Human Resources Management / Professional Qualification related to Human Resources Management from a recognized University * Minimum 3-4 years’ experience preferably in a Manufacturing environment  * Exceptional communication skills in written and spoken English and Sinhala * Outstanding interpersonal skills and a strong results orientation  * Ability to work well in both team-oriented and self-directed environments * Sound knowledge of the MS Office suite    If you think you have what it takes to be successful in this challenging role, please apply via email to jobs@dplgroup.com [jobs@dplgroup.com] indicating the position applied for on the subject line of the email.
