Description
Company : Sime Darby Industrial Sdn Bhd Requirements Diploma (7+ years) or Degree (5+ years) in Safety, Health & Environment. Registered Safety & Health Officer (Green Book) preferred. Strong knowledge of ISO 14001 & ISO 45001, Emergency Preparedness & Response Programs & Contractor Management. Proven experience in risk management, multi-site operations, and safety culture programs. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage ESH operations for Miri and Brunei, ensuring consistent policy implementation. Maintain and communicate risk registers, objectives, targets, and legal/company requirements. Advise on and monitor 5S, noise, ergonomics, ESH risks, PPE, and Journey Management Procedures. Conduct audits, inspections, and incident investigations, ensuring timely corrective actions. Coordinate Sub-ESH Committees, safety culture programs, and training initiatives. Liaise with regulatory authorities, DOSH, and consultants on ESH matters. Ensure effective implementation and compliance with ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and the company Safety Management Framework. Provide guidance and ensure compliance on chemical/scheduled waste management, machinery compliance, and contractor adherence. Support emergency preparedness plans and drive continuous improvement.
