Executive – Industrial Engineering (Based at LC - Pallekele) MAS Intimates, the largest division of MAS Holdings, provides design and manufacturing solutions for leading global lingerie brands. With design hubs in Hong Kong, London, and Sri Lanka, and manufacturing facilities across Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, India, Indonesia, and Kenya, it offers a diverse product portfolio, including bras, briefs, shapewear, performance wear, sleepwear, and wearable tech. Intimates’ customers include Victoria’s Secret, Gap, and Calvin Klein. The division's innovation teams collaborate with universities and experts to deliver consumer-driven, technology-led solutions. We are on the lookout for a dedicated individual to improve manufacturability by standardizing both machine & method, with the product development team using PPA process, chassis & autonomation Key Responsibilities: Provide leadership at PDRA (Product Development Risk Assessment), MI (Moulding Integration), FI (Factory Integration) and Pp (Pre-Production). Continuously look for automation options to de-skill the operation at Pre-Production stage and ensure the availability of the Tech Pack. Continuously look for ways to reduce machine requirement for layouts and ensure machines available for production, prepare layout, Yamazumi version 1. Certify Team Members are trained up to the expected standards and be on alert for abnormalities in shop floor and engage in resolving them Align with projects relating to MOS (MAS Operating System) to achieve the required standards. Ensure adherence to compliance, health and safety procedures during the entire physical/chemical testing processes to maintain zero accidents. Knowledge and Skills: A Degree in Physical Science, Engineering from a recognized university. 1-2 years of experience in a similar capacity. Strong analytical skills with an innovative mindset with the strong knowledge on Lean Manufacturing tools. Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
Responsibilities
Provide leadership in various integration processes and continuously seek automation options to improve manufacturability. Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures and engage in resolving abnormalities on the shop floor.
