Executive - Industrial Engineering (Based at Bodyline - Horana) Bodyline is a joint venture between MAS Holdings, Triumph International Germany and Mast Industries USA, offering apparel solutions from concept to delivery. Bodyline specializes in producing fitted garments and superior next-to-skin performance wear; and is the go-to vendor for bra innovations. The company has evolved from making simple minimalist styles for a single customer to multiple styles and silhouettes across product categories for global brands. Empower transformation by becoming a driving force of change at MAS. We are on the lookout for a dedicated individual to guide and lead value stream IE team in sewing to ensure continuous improvements are carried out through Lean initiatives/ industrial engineering principles and autonomation solutions in the manufacturing processes to increase productivity and maximize incentives whilst minimizing costs. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Ensure continuous improvement of the sewing operation through lean and industrial engineering principles and related tools to maximize the utilization of man, material & machine, and standard it across value streams. Ensure optimal utilization of the autonomation solutions whilst carrying out Kaizen activities to create maximized productivity. Ensure effective coordination with planning and merchandising teams to make sure the optimum plant loading is done to maximize productivity and incentive outflow. Lead the factory integration and quick changeover process minimize bucket loss in production. Liaise with technical training team and Group Leaders to ensure skill levels of the value stream is up to the required standards. Conduct Yamazumi based on the given plan to identify critical areas for improvement, suggest solutions to improve efficiency and conduct training as and when required. Carry out the activities in the critical path of the factory integration and quick changeover process to minimize bucket loss in the production. Responsible for the implementation and the progress of the special projects (dancing module, chassis base planning, machine uberization, continuous flow, Lean phase out) of the plant to generate expected business results. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS Degree in Engineering, Physical Science or any other related field from a recognized university. Minimum of 1 - 2 years’ experience in similar capacity. Strong analytical skills with an innovative mindset with strong knowledge on Lean Manufacturing tools. Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
