We are on the lookout for a dedicated individual to ensure establishment of best practices within the costing team thereby contributing to develop the most effective production methods as per the customers standards, transferring relevant details from the development stages to the production process. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Analyze samples critically, prepare operations breakdowns, analyze motions, assign Standard Minute Values (SMV’s) for operations using GSD system and prepare machine layouts in order to facilitate accurate allocation of machines/manpower to obtain optimum output. Produce an accurate costing sheet to achieve the competitive price and give the various costing options to customers in order to reduce the price while adding newness to the product. Facilitate the pilot-run for new styles, prepare machine layouts, feeding plans & Standard Work Sheets (STW), whilst participating in change-over meetings and inform the teams accordingly. Provide work-study techniques in order to improve efficiency and productivity to achieve customer delivery and the quality standard. Analyze and monitoring all the product developments are done based on the best manufacturable method in order to improve the operational efficiencies. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS Degree in Textile background. 2-3 years of industrial experience in the same capacity Knowledge of Industrial Engineering and tool of costing.

Responsibilities

The role involves establishing best practices within the costing team to develop effective production methods according to customer standards, which includes analyzing samples, assigning Standard Minute Values (SMVs) using the GSD system, and preparing accurate costing sheets. Responsibilities also cover facilitating pilot runs, providing work-study techniques to improve efficiency, and ensuring product development adheres to the best manufacturable methods.
