Job Description About the Role The Executive – Industry Insights, based in Pakistan, within APP Retail Vertical, plays a key role in delivering high-quality market insights that inform Retail clients' strategic decisions. You will be part of the Retail Vertical Insights team, responsible for analyzing retail measurement data, identifying trends, and presenting compelling stories that help clients understand retailer performance benchmarks, category performance, consumer behavior, and market opportunities. This role is designed for an analytically strong, detail-oriented communicator who thrives in a Retail client-focused environment. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders across APP Retail Customer Success, Retail Account Development and Operations to ensure excellence in delivery and execution. Key Responsibilities 1. Insight Delivery & Analysis -Analyze retail measurement data to identify trends, retailer performance, business drivers, and category opportunities. -Simplify and visualize data to create clear, compelling client stories and actionable insights. -Prepare and deliver performance overview reports, business issue analyses, growth opportunities and thought-leadership materials.  Develop strong proficiency in NIQ proprietary tools (e.g., NIQ Discover and NIQ Newron) to support analytic work and client presentations. 2. Client Engagement & Support -Serve as a key point of contact for day-to-day analytical queries and data interpretation support. -Participate in client briefings, asking clarifying questions to fully understand business needs. -Present insights to Retailer’s category and marketing teams, supporting strategic discussions aligned with client goals. -Promote adoption of self-service tools (e.g. NIQ Service Suite) and guide clients in understanding NIQ data and solutions. © 2025 Nielsen Consumer LLC. Cross-Functional Collaboration -Collaborate with the Customer Success, Account Development, and Operations teams, to ensure seamless service delivery. -Support internal projects such as training initiatives, overall APP teams KPIs drive. -Contribute to developing standardized analytical frameworks and improving service efficiency. 4. Thought Leadership & Continuous Development -Contribute to the development of thought-leadership insights that position NIQ as an industry expert. -Participate in internal training programs (e.g., NIQ Academy) to build analytical, storytelling, and platform capabilities. -Proactively identify market signals, emerging trends, and opportunities for Retail clients upsell or added value. Qualifications Required -Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, Statistics, Data Analytics, or a related field. -0–3 years of experience in data analysis, market research, FMCG insights, Tech & Durables insights, or related functions. -Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to translate data into meaningful insights. -Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with visualization tools is a plus. -Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Preferred -Experience with FMCG datasets or syndicated retail measurement data. -Working knowledge of NIQ platforms (e.g., NIQ Connect, NIQ Discover, NIQ Newron). -Demonstrated curiosity and passion for consumer behavior and market dynamics. -Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
