In line with our business expansion, we would like to invite qualified and candidates to fill the following position at FGV Security Services Sdn Bhd Job Description JOB PURPOSE The Executive, IT & Digitalisation is responsible for managing the company’s IT infrastructure and driving digitalisation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency. This role ensures the smooth operation of hardware, software, and network systems, while also identifying, developing, and implementing digital solutions to streamline processes, improve data management, and support the company’s administrative and business functions. The position serves as a bridge between IT support and digital transformation, ensuring FGVSSSB remains efficient, secure, and future-ready. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/INDVIDUAL ACCOUNTABILITIES Manage and maintain IT infrastructure including hardware, software, and network systems to ensure reliable and secure operations. Oversee procurement, rental, and maintenance of company IT equipment, providing timely support and troubleshooting for staff. Drive digitalisation initiatives by identifying and implementing solutions to streamline processes, improve workflows, and enhance administrative efficiency. Maintain structured and secure digital systems, filing platforms, and company data with focus on accuracy, accessibility, and compliance. Coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders to deliver effective IT and digital solutions in line with organisational needs. Provide guidance and training to staff on IT systems and digital tools, promoting digital-first practices and continuous improvement. KEY SHARED ACCOUNTABILITIES Comply with all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements to ensure integrity, confidentiality, and corporate governance. Support the achievement of departmental and organisational objectives in line with FGVSSSB’s Business Plan and strategic direction. Demonstrate teamwork, professionalism, and effective communication when working with colleagues, management, and external stakeholders. Safeguard company assets, data, and information systems by adhering to security protocols and ethical standards. COMPETENCIES 1. Technical Proficiency in managing IT infrastructure (hardware, software, networking, internet). Knowledge of digitalisation tools, workflow systems, and basic application/database development. Ability to identify and implement digital solutions to streamline processes and improve efficiency. Skills in data management, digital filing systems, and information security practices. Familiarity with vendor coordination, service level agreements (SLAs), and IT procurement. Competence in troubleshooting IT issues and providing user support. 2. Behavioural Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking in resolving IT and digitalisation challenges. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with stakeholders across all levels. Teamwork and collaboration in driving digital-first practices within the organisation. Adaptability and openness to new technologies and continuous improvement. High integrity, responsibility, and accountability in handling company data and systems. Initiative and proactiveness in identifying opportunities for process improvement. QUALIFICATIONS AND WORKING EXPERIENCE 1. Educational Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related field from an accredited university/institution. Additional certifications in IT systems, networking, or digitalisation tools (e.g., CompTIA, Cisco, Microsoft, cloud solutions, data management) are an advantage. Knowledge of digital transformation practices, workflow automation, and data security is preferred. 2. Working Experience Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in IT infrastructure management, system support, or digitalisation projects. Hands-on experience in managing company devices, networks, and internet systems. Exposure to digitalisation initiatives such as process automation, system development, or implementation of digital tools. Experience in troubleshooting IT issues, coordinating with vendors, and providing user support. Background in data management, reporting systems, or digital filing systems will be an added advantage. 3. Preferred Skills / Knowledge Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and basic system/database development. Familiarity with digitalisation tools such as workflow automation platforms, cloud storage, or ERP systems. Knowledge of Microsoft Power BI or other data visualisation/reporting tools will be an added advantage. Knowledgeable in IT security practices and data governance. Ability to train and guide staff in adopting IT systems and digital solutions.
