Executive- Lab & Inspection (Based at Unichela-Panadura) MAS Intimates, the largest division of MAS Holdings, provides design and manufacturing solutions for leading global lingerie brands. Empower transformation by becoming a driving force of change at MAS as we are on the lookout for a dedicated individual to join the team as an Executive- Lab & Inspection. This role would enable you to Ensure that all raw materials are defect free at the needle point to maintain a noise free environment during production. Key Responsibilities: Conduct lab testing according to the customer manual standards to ensure test accuracy of the lab report. Maintaining the latest version of customer testing manual to meet the accuracy of test results. Conduct validation of portal information by verifying supplier data, confirming shade accuracy through spectrophotometer (Delta E) readings, and reviewing physical, chemical, and inspection test reports to make an informed decision. Evaluate factory certified auditors at the supplier on performance and accuracy to maintain factory certified auditors’ standards. Conduct regular meetings with internal teams to communicate the relevant information & status. Conduct fact-based real-time problem solving to avoid raw material related issues to minimise the noises.. Engage with the PPA (PDRA/DRA/Integration) process and identify potential risks to minimize raw material noises at the needle point.. Ensure adherence to compliance, health, and safety procedures during the entire physical/chemical testing processes to maintain zero accidents. As part of the accreditation team, undergo training on an on-going basis and conduct annual lab correlations to obtain/maintain accreditations and ensure continuity in certifications. Ensure all lab equipment are calibrated/serviced as per schedule in order to facilitate the continuous operation of the equipment. Qualifications: Degree in Engineering, preferably in Textile and Clothing Strong analytical skills with an innovative mindset Prior experience in a similar role will be advantageous. Strong communication and leadership skills Knowledge on Lean Manufacturing tools
