About the Role We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Executive, Loan Recovery to join our team at RHB Banking Group. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of impaired accounts, driving recovery efforts through legal actions or restructuring and rescheduling (R&R), and supporting the team with accurate management reporting. Your contributions will be key to achieving recovery performance targets and maintaining the Bank’s asset quality. What you will be doing Manage impaired loan accounts for recovery through legal actions and/or R&R strategies. Prepare and support various management reports and administrative tasks as assigned. Liaise with external legal counsels to pursue legal recovery actions until all avenues are exhausted. Engage tactfully with customers responding to legal actions to explore recovery or R&R options. Coordinate with impaired borrowers to formulate R&R plans and prepare credit applications for management approval. Oversee legal documentation and monitor borrower compliance with approved R&R terms. File proofs of debt promptly for borrowers under bankruptcy, winding-up, or Debt Repayment Schemes. Assist in other recovery-related projects and tasks as assigned by the Head of Loan Recovery. What we're looking for 1–3 years of experience in loan recovery, legal, credit management, or related fields. Strong analytical and organizational skills. Excellent communication and negotiation abilities. High level of integrity and professionalism. Familiarity with legal recovery processes and regulatory reporting requirements. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
