Executive ‐ Machine Maintenance (Based at Biyagama) Silueta (Pvt) Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of MAS Holdings, specialises in no-sew bonding technology and advanced thermal moulding capabilities. We are on the lookout for a dedicated individual to ensure that all machines within the Production departments are maintained to the required standards in order to ensure its continuous operation. Key Responsibilities: Continuously monitor & maintain, condition of production equipment/service equipment during its operation in order to check performance of machine and thereby facilitate continuity of the production process. Check all machines in operation within the production facility/services (MBC/CCP) in order to ensure that they are in perfect working order. Ensure stocks of adequate quantity of frequently required critical spares in order to ensure quick turnaround of repairs and thereby prevent, reduce machine downtime. Follow the service schedule and ensure that machines are released in a timely manner to facilitate the process. Form Autonomous maintenance teams/internal teams to facilitate the process and planning of maintenance related work schedules. Coordinate with internal customers on the allocation of resources for changeovers in order to reduce QCO objectives. Provide technical expertise and innovative solutions to the maintenance teams to minimize machine breakdowns and to provide economic solutions. Coordinate with HR to train, motivate and develop the maintenance teams to facilitate team work and career development. Knowledge and Skills: Engineering Degree or National Diploma in Technology. 1 year experience in similar capacity. Good communication skills.
Responsibilities
The primary responsibility is to continuously monitor and maintain production and service equipment to ensure continuous operation and adherence to required standards. This includes managing critical spare parts inventory, following service schedules, and facilitating quick repair turnarounds to minimize downtime.
