We’re seeking a visionary Executive Manager Finance and Corporate Services to join our Executive Leadership Team and help shape Burnie’s strategic future. Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Executive Manager Finance and Corporate Services is a key advisor to Council and leads financial strategy and corporate services with insight, integrity and impact.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Be Council’s principal financial advisor, driving long-term sustainability and resilience
  • Identify financial risks and opportunities to support informed decision-making
  • Lead and mentor high-performing teams across finance and corporate services
  • Deliver outcomes aligned with Making a Better Burnie 2044 and other key strategic plans
  • Collaborate across Council to embed efficiency, innovation, and a strong customer focus
