Responsibilities

THE ROLE.

Our Group Environmental Strategy team is looking for an Executive Manager to join and partner with senior sustainability and business leaders across CBA to set the bank’s environmental strategy, defining key commitments, priorities and objectives; and to ensure the bank delivers them while continuing to deliver value to our stakeholders.
This role is responsible for supporting the Group’s Sustainable Funding Governance capability, in line with emerging standards. This includes tracking our progress and frameworks against both domestic and international standards and concepts while being a valuable subject matter resource to business leaders across the bank on interpretations, information and sustainable finance strategy.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supporting business units in the interpretation of Sustainable Funding Frameworks and Guidelines for individual transactions or product design across the bank’s different business units
  • Establishing and overseeing effective governance of Sustainable Funding Frameworks and Guidelines
  • Undertaking special projects related to the Group’s sustainable funding activities, in the context of an evolving regulatory environment and opportunity for cross-business unit collaboration (e.g. leading consultation feedback)
  • Collaborate with Group Finance and data teams to support accurate reporting of sustainable funding targets and commitments
  • Reviewing and evaluating technical screening criteria from updated sustainable finance taxonomies
