Responsibilities

The Executive Manager Works and Infrastructure is a senior leadership position within Council that is responsible for overseeing the planning, delivery, and maintenance of public infrastructure and essential services. This role ensures the efficient management of capital works programs, roads, drainage, parks, buildings, and other community assets.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing strategic direction and operational leadership for infrastructure planning and civil works.
  • Managing budgets, contracts, and project timelines to ensure quality and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Collaborating with internal departments and external stakeholders to align infrastructure initiatives with community needs and Council objectives.
  • Driving continuous improvement, sustainability, and innovation in service delivery and asset management.
  • Providing oversite and ensuring successful delivery of Council’s annual Capital Works Program.

This position plays a critical role in shaping the built environment of the local area, enhancing livability, and supporting the long-term growth and resilience of the community.
