First Southern Bank is looking for an Executive & Marketing Assistant to join our team! The Executive & Marketing Assistant ‘s responsibilities include but are not limited to the daily administrative support duties of the President & CEO, coordination and management of various committee and board meetings and materials, oversee the design and content creation of marketing materials and campaigns, administration of company website and social media accounts, assist with the setup, facilitation, and completion of marketing and company events.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or business-related field; preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in a marketing or communications role; preferred banking or financial services environment
  • Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Photoshop, or other graphic software
  • Knowledge of regulatory marketing requirements
  • Excellent computer and communication skills (in person, phone, and email
  • Ability to operate in a team environment to accomplish shared goals
  • Friendly, courteous, and professional disposition

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage schedules including arranging meetings, appointments, and travel for President & CEO
  • Prepare and distribute internal and external company communications
  • Prepare presentation materials including agendas and board meeting packages; record minutes for various committee meetings
  • Maintain confidential information; organize and prioritize requests and tasks, ensuring timely responses and resolutions
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with internal teams, clients, and vendors
  • Assist in the development and implementation of marketing campaigns to drive brand awareness and initiatives
  • Create marketing materials including print and digital advertising
  • Administer company website, social media accounts and content creation
  • Manage marketing requests and expenses; maintain and track promotional items supply levels
  • Organize company events, meetings, or conferences by arranging facilities including site and room management, and caterers, issuing information or invitations, and controlling event budget
