MEDIA BUSINESS

• Responsible for managing the Japan Hour TV program. This includes building and maintaining relationships with local media partners and clients, brand management and updating of the program.
• Drive the business development of our anime content business. This involves identifying and promoting new business opportunities utilizing Japanese anime Intellectual Property (IP).
• Collaborate with regional media teams in Malaysia, Vietnam, and Indonesia to support media business opportunities in the region.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Education: Degree with minimum 5 years of relevant working experience. Experience in media and digital sectors would be an added advantage.
• Possess strong interest and passion for the media and digital sectors.
• High proficiency in Japanese (both written and spoken) is required to effectively support business needs and communicate with Japanese-speaking stakeholders, as well as with group companies across the region.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Ability to build strong client relationships through excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and effectively engage with a diverse range of clients to identify needs, propose solutions, and drive business growth.
• Willingness to travel (once a month).
