Job Description Position: Junior Executive – Merchandising (Commercial Team) Location: Mumbai Department: Commercial Reports To: Senior Manager – Partnerships Role Overview: We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Junior Executive – Merchandising to join the Commercial Team at Rajasthan Royals. The role involves managing merchandise operations, supporting sponsorships activations, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring smooth end-to-end execution of merchandising deliverables. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in sports or e-commerce operations, with a strong understanding of pricing, product trends, and inventory management. Key Responsibilities: Support the merchandising function within the Commercial team by managing end-to-end operational processes. Assist in product planning, pricing, and assortment based on current trends and fan insights. Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for timely procurement, production, and delivery of merchandise. Manage inventory tracking, stock movement, and replenishment processes. Maintain and update product and sales data using Microsoft Excel and other internal tools. Work closely with the Spons team to ensure fulfillment of B2B orders including delivery and curation of portfolios to share with sponsors and Cricket Ops to ensure any lifestyle related merch and special drops are delivered on time Work closely with internal stakeholders — including marketing, design, operations, and finance — to ensure merchandising aligns with campaign and partner requirements. Monitor market and competitor trends to recommend product ideas, pricing adjustments, and promotional opportunities. Support retail operations and e-commerce initiatives, ensuring accurate product listings, order fulfillment, and post-sale coordination. Assist in preparing reports and presentations on merchandising performance and sales analytics. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in business, Retail Management, Marketing, or a related field. 1–2 years of experience in merchandising, retail operations, or e-commerce. Experience in sports merchandise or consumer goods is preferred. Strong knowledge of Excel Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Good sense of market trends, pricing strategy, and consumer behavior.
