External Job Description • Ensure that the paint transfers from the mixer to the filling machine• Ensure that the nozzles are filling in adequate quantity of paint• Train technicians on the inputs (price, batch number) on the printer for labeling and MF MAT 18• Ensure the accuracy of label orientation and printing message• Ensure that the necessary packing materials are available• Instruct the fork lift person to place the lids and cartons at appropriate lines• Troubleshoot any problems which may arise in the packing line• Transfer of finished goods and their storage in the ASRS• Maintain the Production report on a daily basis• Ensure the safety of the people working in the block• Ensure that scrap is disposed properly• Reading the shift report and understanding the current status of work• Ensuring that there are enough lids & Cartons to continue packing without stoppage• Ensuring the shop floor stock of finished goods to be minimum• Ensure that correct data is entered into image printers and on the label from MES according to MF MAT 18• Ensure that correct data has been fed into the packing machine for weight per litre.• Start the batch in co-ordination with the Sr-officer• Ensure that no foreign substance is mixed with paint• Carry out SPC of machines, Ensuring packing line is clean .• Ensure 5S of the working area.

Responsibilities

This role involves overseeing the paint transfer process from mixing to filling machines, ensuring accurate labeling, and managing the availability and placement of packing materials on the line. The incumbent is also responsible for troubleshooting packing line issues, managing finished goods storage, and maintaining daily production reports.
