We are bringing together our performance and improvement functions into a new, high-impact position — Executive National Director – Strategy, Performance & Improvement.
The key focus of this role is to ensure Health NZ has a clear, forward-looking strategic direction for how healthcare services need to evolve, alongside a deep understanding of current and desired future performance. You will lead the development of a robust, transparent, and effective performance management system that supports strategic delivery, financial sustainability, and continuous improvement across the health system.

You will bring the gravitas to operate at the most senior levels of government and health, and the ability to translate strategy into sustainable, measurable results.
This role is a member of the Executive Leadership Team, reporting directly to the Chief Executive.
