SCHOOL OF BUSINESS OFFICE OF THE DEAN OF BUSINESS MAINLAND AND GLOBAL ENGAGEMENT SECTION (MGES) Executive Officer / Assistant Executive Officer (25260677) At the HKBU School of Business, we value people who are curious and passionate, and we reward both collaboration and innovation. The appointee will be a key member of the dynamic Mainland and Global Engagement Section (MGES) for proactively developing and executing the internationalisation plan of the School.  Responsibilities:  * Assist in planning and delivery of year-round internationalisation initiatives for the School; * Organise on/off campus experiential programmes to facilitate integration of international students; * Support and attend physical and/or virtual overseas conferences together with school leadership to solicit partnerships for the School; * Liaise effectively with external and internal bodies to support recruitment, mobility processes, event delivery, partner management, and maintaining records; and * Performing other duties as assigned to ensure smooth office operations and contribute to international recruitment, mobility, and integration outcomes. Requirements: * A bachelor’s degree, preferably accompanied by at least two years of relevant work experience; * A positive attitude, with the ability to multi-task, demonstrate strong attention to detail, and work effectively both independently and as part of a team; * Experience in administrative support, event coordination, customer service, or student services; * A high standard of written and spoken English, Mandarin and Cantonese would be an advantage; and * Proficiency in computer software, such as Canva, MS Office, and/or Google Workspace. Candidates with less experience will be considered for the Assistant Executive Officer role.  Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.  The initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract of two years. Re-appointment thereafter is subject to performance review, mutual agreement and availability of funding. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
