ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a diligent and forward thinking individual to serve as a focal point for all matters that require direct intervention and management of the General Manager, and provides high level strategic advice in relation to DHS management and executive support.

The role is responsible for:

  • Leading and managing the Executive Support Team to coordinate and provide expert advice to coordinate DHS Executive actions; and respond to requests for briefings and correspondence received.
  • Provide high level support to the General Manager by identifying contentious issues, assessing risks, collating accurate and appropriate information and ensuring it is delivered within tight deadlines to keep the General Manager informed on critical matters.
  • Coordinates, implements and manages Drug Health Services corporate communications, key messaging, and external and internal communications ensuring consistency, accuracy, and relevance of information for optimal influence. Research and develop ministerial briefings, key governance committee meeting minutes, correspondence, responses to District and MoH requests.
