The UTS DVC Education & Students is recruiting for an Executive Officer to join the team on a fixed term basis for 12 months, covering a parental leave.About the Opportunity The Executive Officer provides executive management support to the DVCES by managing various complex activities within the Division’s portfolio. The role is a crucial partner to the DVCES, supporting them to drive the Education and Students Division’s contribution to UTS 2030 Strategy. Key responsibilities include managing the coordination of all business-related activities, such as research, planning, and reporting across various issues and functions. The role also involves overseeing the daily operations of the Office, as well as leading programs of work and strategic projects. With examples, please outline how you meet the following three (3) key selection criteria points below: 1. Extensive experience in the developing and managing complex board papers within a higher education environment. and management of board papers in a corporate environment2. Demonstrated ability to perform high-level project management of strategic projects, including tracking of projects across a portfolio of work, identifying risks and mitigation strategies, conducting evaluation and reporting of initiatives3. Proven leadership and expertise in University policy and governance, with the ability to work autonomously and make sound, independent decisions.
