CUHK Business School Executive Officer I (carrying the job title of ‘Senior Manager’), Career Development and Corporate Engagement Office The CUHK Business School is a leading business school and a pioneer in business education in Hong Kong. The Career Development and Corporate Engagement Office (CDCEO) spearheads corporate partnerships and academic-industry collaboration. This role is pivotal in bridging the School’s academic excellence with regional industry needs, driving employability initiatives, and securing strategic opportunities for students and faculty. Reporting to the Administrative Director or her designate, the appointee will be responsible for (a) developing a thorough understanding of the needs of each programme and students, and working as a liaison between programmes, students, trainers and the CDCEO; (b) proactively sourcing and communicating with external trainers and remaining connected for future workshop needs; (c) developing and organising trainings and events accordingly to the need of each programmes and students; (d) managing programmes input and feedback for all projects and building strong working relationships; (e) managing day-to-day communication with programmes and ongoing relationships in relation to current and upcoming events; (f) managing a small team of programme and marketing executives; (g) being part of the development team of the CRM system; and (h) handling various CDCEO projects and other ad hoc tasks as assigned by the supervisor. Working at flexible hours, including weekends, and business travel will be required. Applicants should have (i) a good Bachelor’s degree; (ii) fulfilled the English Language requirement set on the website: https://www.hro.cuhk.edu.hk/en-gb/languageforeo; (iii) at least 8 years’ post-qualification executive experience; (iv) sound commercial sense and a customer service-oriented mindset; (v) good knowledge of current employment trends in the Greater Bay Area; (vi) an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including simplified Chinese and Putonghua); and (vii) excellent communication and presentation skills. Shortlisted candidates may be invited to sit for written test(s).
