Vice-Chancellor's Office Executive Officer I The appointee will be responsible for (a) managing diaries, and organising meetings and appointments for the senior management; (b) arranging travel, transport, accommodation and itineraries for the senior management; (c) providing a full-range of personal assistance and secretarial support for the senior management; (d) co-ordinating with various internal and external parties to maintain a smooth daily work-flow; (e) organising events, ceremonies and seminars; (f) handling office administration; (g) coaching supporting staff; and (h) performing other tasks as assigned. Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor’s degree; (ii) fulfilled the English language requirements set out on the website: https://www.hro.cuhk.edu.hk/en-gb/languageforeo; (iii) at least 8 years’ post-qualification executive experience, preferably at tertiary institutions; (iv) an excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); (v) good interpersonal, communication and organisational skills; (vi) a strong sense of responsibility and self-motivation to work efficiently under pressure; (vii) proficiency in computer literacy; (viii) an innovative and positive work attitude; and (ix) good team spirit to work along with colleagues. Candidates may be invited to sit for a written test.
