Department of Psychology Executive Officer II (carrying the job title of ‘Administrative Team Lead’) The Diversity and Well-being Lab under the supervision of Prof. Winnie Mak at the Department of Psychology is currently recruiting an Executive Officer II for a digital mental health project, the Jockey Club TourHeart+ Project. The appointee will be responsible for (a) assisting in budget planning and financial reporting of the project; (b) preparing and compiling tender and procurement documents in accordance with relevant guidelines of CUHK and The Trust; (c) preparing expense claims in comply with CUHK & The Trust requirements; (d) following with external auditor on annual financial & output audit; (e) monitoring project progress and ensuring the delivery of pledged outputs; (f) planning and providing administrative support to project team and the laboratory; (g) preparing reports for internal and external use; (h) handling HR-related issues of the project; (i) liaising with collaborators and vendors; (j) supervising junior staff members to facilitating the operation of the lab and implementation of various projects; (k) providing administrative and logistics support in organising online and offline activities; (l) organising internal and external meetings; and (m) providing support in ad-hoc tasks. Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business Administration, Project Management, or related fields; (ii) fulfilled the English language requirements set out on the website: http://www.hro.cuhk.edu.hk/en-gb/languageforeo; (iii) a minimum of 3 years’ post-qualification experience in project administration or executive role, preferably within the non-profit sector or charitable organisations; (iv) an excellent command of English and Chinese; (v) strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain attentiveness to detail; (vi) strong interpersonal skills and communication abilities, a keen sense of responsibility and service mindset; and (vii) a good team player. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written language test in both English and Chinese.
