School of Journalism and Communication Executive Officer II / Project Co-ordinator II (carrying the job title of ‘Assistant Programme Manager’) The appointee will be responsible for (a) providing administrative support to academic programmes and admissions; (b) co-ordinating student exchange collaborations and arranging student activities; (c) serving as secretary to various committees; (d) assisting with office administration; and (e) performing other duties as assigned. Applicants should have (i) a good Bachelor’s degree; (ii) fulfilled the English language requirements set out on the website: https://www.hro.cuhk.edu.hk/en-gb/languageforeo; (iii) an excellent command of English and Chinese (including Putonghua); (iv) at least 3 years’ post-qualification relevant executive experience; (v) strong communication, organisational and analytical skills, and attentiveness to detail; and (vi) the ability to multitask, work independently, and accomplish tasks effectively. Having work experience at tertiary institutions will be an advantage. Applicants who do not fulfil (ii) and (iv) on the above may be considered for appointment as Project Co-ordinator II. Applicants must submit copies of certificates showing that they have fulfilled the language requirements and academic qualifications stated above, otherwise their applications will NOT be considered. Appointment will initially be made on a 2-year contract with contract-end gratuity, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
