Faculty of Medicine Executive Officer II / Project Co-ordinator II (Facilities & Projects) The appointee will work at the Finance & Development team under the Faculty and Planning Office, Faculty of Medicine. He/She may need to work on both sites of CUHK campus and Prince of Wales Hospital. Duties include (a) supporting the planning and execution of the Faculty’s Redevelopment/Expansion Projects; (b) liaising and collaborating with internal and external counterparts, including government departments, Hospital Authority, and contractors; (c) administering facilities management and classroom booking matters; (d) compiling data, reports, floor plans and meeting notes; (e) handling procurement related tasks; (f) providing secretarial and administrative support to committees; and (g) performing other tasks as assigned. Applicants should have/be (i) a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Building Management, surveying, or related disciplines; (ii) fulfilled the English language requirements set out on the website: https://www.hro.cuhk.edu.hk/en-gb/languageforeo (for Executive Officer II); (iii) at least 3 years’ post-qualification executive experience, (iii) proficient in both written and spoken Chinese and English; (iv) proficient in MS Excel, Word and, Chinese word-processing; (v) attentiveness to details and accuracy, and a strong sense of responsibility; (vi) a self-motivated team player with good problem-solving skill; and (vii) excellent communication and interpersonal skill, the ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test. Those with less experience may be considered for appointment as Project Co-ordinator II. Appointment will initially be made on a 2-year contract with contract-end gratuity, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
