School of Architecture Executive Officer II(s) The School of Architecture at The Chinese University of Hong Kong is a world-class, research-led and professionally connected learning environment. We embrace innovative approaches to architectural education and cross-disciplinary research that impact on society and the profession. We are now seeking outstanding Executive Officer II(s) to join the School’s administration team. Post A: The appointee will be responsible for communication and PR related matters. Duties include (a) leading the School’s branding initiative; (b) developing the School’s publication and promotional materials; (c) generating media exposure for the School; (d) managing the School’s website and social media channels; (e) planning and organising events; and (f) overseeing the facilities management. Post B: The appointee will be responsible for Finance and HR related matters. Duties include (a) performing budget planning and financial management; (b) handling personnel matters for academic and non-academic staff; (c) providing secretarial and administrative support to committees; (d) handling course evaluations; (e) providing secretarial support to the School Director; and (f) performing other tasks as assigned by the Director. Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor’s degree; (ii) fulfilled the English language requirements set out on the website: https://www.hro.cuhk.edu.hk/en-gb/languageforeo; (iii) at least 5 years’ relevant post-qualification executive experience; (iv) an excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese; (v) strong interpersonal, communication and organisational skills; (vi) the ability to work independently, and under pressure and tight timelines; and (vii) proficiency in computer applications. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test.
