Registry Executive Officer II The appointee will be assigned to the Academic and Quality Section of the Registry. He/ She will be responsible for (a) providing support to committee work and report writing; (b) liaising with Faculties/ Departments on curriculum-related matters, and managing curriculum database/ student information system; (c) providing support to grants administration; and (d) performing ad hoc duties as assigned. Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor’s degree; (ii) fulfilled the English language requirements set out on the website: https://www.hro.cuhk.edu.hk/en-gb/languageforeo; (iii) an effective command of English and Chinese (fluency in Putonghua will be advantageous); (iv) a good understanding of local university curricula, hands-on experience with student information systems, and relevant administrative experience at higher educational institutions or public organisations; (v) a strong sense of responsibility, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently and under pressure; (vi) excellent interpersonal, communication, organisational and analytical skills; and (vii) a high level of computer literacy. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test. Appointment will initially be made on a 2-year contract with contract-end gratuity, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
