Description
School of Life Sciences Executive Officer II The School of Life Sciences is now looking for a high-calibre candidate to join the team. The appointee will work alongside a dynamic team, leading the rapid development of the School. The appointee will be responsible for (a) playing an administrative role in overseeing the undergraduate office; (b) planning and executing campaigns to promote the School across various channels, including its website and social media; (c) co-ordinating with internal and external parties to organise and participate in admissions, career and alumni events; (d) providing support for School events and activities; and (e) performing any other duties as assigned. Applicants should have (i) a good Bachelor’s degree; (ii) fulfilled the English language requirements set out on the website: https://www.hro.cuhk.edu.hk/en-gb/languageforeo; (iii) at least 5 years’ post-qualification executive experience, preferably in higher education institutions; (iv) strong interpersonal, organisational and problem-solving skills; (v) a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese and Putonghua); (vi) a strong sense of responsibility and self-motivation; (vii) a good level of experience in student recruiting and marketing within an education context; and (viii) high computer proficiency and competence in social media. Having knowledge of and experience with digital media marketing will be advantageous. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a written test. Appointment will initially be made on a 2-year contract with contract-end gratuity, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
