Description
Department of Otorhinolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery Executive Officer II The appointee will work under the Division of Speech Therapy of the Department of Otorhinolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery. Duties include (a) assisting the Programme Director(s) to manage postgraduate and professional diploma programmes; (b) overseeing the administration of the division, including financial budgeting, account management, human resources management, project management, etc.; (c) planning, organising and marketing local and international academic events and seminars; (d) providing secretarial support to meetings; (e) supervising junior staff and assisting in daily office administration; and (f) performing other tasks as assigned. Applicants should have (i) a good Bachelor’s degree from a recognised university; (ii) fulfilled the English language requirements set out on the website: https://www.hro.cuhk.edu.hk/en-gb/languageforeo; (iii) at least 3 years’ post-qualification executive experience, preferably in academic administration or project co-ordination at tertiary institutions; (iv) an excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); (v) strong problem-solving and analytical skills, good project execution capability, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills; (vi) the ability to multitask, work independently, and accomplish tasks effectively; (vii) a diligent and self-motivated work manner, as well as a strong sense of responsibility; and (viii) proficiency in computer applications, such as MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test. Responsibilities
