Join Our Team as Executive Pastry Chef
We’re looking for an Executive Pastry Chef to elevate our pastry program across our business operations. Currently, this includes two thriving cafés and two restaurants, but the role comes with the vision and drive to grow further. This is a dynamic position with strong progression opportunities over time — ideal for a talented pastry chef who is as passionate about baking as they are about leading teams and operations.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

  • Proven experience as an Executive Pastry Chef or Senior Pastry Leader in a high-volume, quality-driven environment (5+ years).
  • Hands-on expertise across a broad range of pastry and baking techniques.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage both people and processes.
  • Expertise in both traditional and modern pastry techniques, with a focus on consistency and quality.
  • A creative and adaptable mindset — comfortable spearheading change, running day-to-day operations, and planning for growth.
  • Attention to detail with both artistry (beautifully plated desserts) and logistics (ordering, paperwork, scheduling).

Responsibilities
  • Lead pastry operations for four high-volume locations, ensuring quality, consistency, and creativity.
  • Oversee a wide range of production: viennoiserie, laminated pastries, breads, cakes, plated desserts, and sandwich breads.
  • Manage commissary-style production for cafés (sandwiches and treats), with plans to expand offerings.
  • Collaborate with the wider culinary team to align pastry and savory menus into a seamless dining experience.
  • Organize logistics, inventory, and procurement to maintain efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Mentor and develop a small but dedicated pastry team, fostering innovation and excellence.
