Glen Oak Country Club, a premier private club with a tradition of excellence, is seeking a talented and innovative Executive Pastry Chef to lead our pastry program. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate culinary professional to showcase creativity while upholding the highest standards of quality and service.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Proven experience as an Executive Pastry Chef, Pastry Chef de Cuisine, or Senior Pastry Sous Chef in a high-volume, fine dining or private club environment.
· Strong artistic and technical skills in pastry, baking, chocolate, and sugar work.
· A leader who thrives in a collaborative, professional environment.
· Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred.

Responsibilities

· Leading all aspects of pastry and dessert production, including plated desserts, banquet functions, weddings, and member dining.
· Creating and executing seasonal dessert menus that balance tradition with modern techniques.
· Overseeing production of bread and specialty baked goods for multiple outlets.
· Managing and mentoring pastry team members to achieve consistency and excellence.
· Maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, organization, and food safety.
· Collaborating closely with the Director of Culinary and Executive Chef to enhance the member dining experience.
