IT SKILL SET COMPETENCIES.

One of the most important requirements of the PA skill-set is IT literacy. At the very least, PAs should have advanced-level skills in Word for Windows and Microsoft PowerPoint and at least an intermediate level knowledge of Microsoft Excel and SharePoint.

Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience

  • Strong accuracy and attention to detail; good organisational and analytical skills; good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, SharePoint, OneDrive and other Office software
  • Excellent interpersonal skills – approachability, friendly manner, active listener. Respectful of confidentiality

Responsibilities

PURPOSE OF POST

The purpose of this post is to effectively support the work of the Chief Executive Officer in all matters pertaining to Camphill Communities of Ireland
Key Responsibilities

The principal duties and responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:

  • To support effective management of the interface with the Chief Executive Officer and the local managers (PiC’s) in the Camphill Communities with a view to facilitating good communication and understanding of the respective Communities.
  • Maintains department schedule by maintaining calendars for department personnel, arranging meetings, conferences, teleconferences, and travel
  • To support the management of the interface between the National Governance Office and the Senior management team and to provide a high level of administrative support as required.
  • To support/facilitate/monitor and interrogate KPI’s across Communities.
  • To support the administrative function of, and attend and actively participate in Senior Management Team meetings
  • To help establish and maintain links between Camphill Communities of Ireland and relevant stakeholders to support service delivery.
  • To support the completion of required documentation in relation to Service Level Arrangements with HSE as required.
  • To support the Head of Services in their lead role across the service area and nationally which includes delivering strategic objectives as required.
  • Promote and participate in the implementation of any change management programme as appropriate.
  • To ensure contact lists (mailing and phone) and databases and filing systems are kept up to date.
  • Management of capital and minor projects and maintenance/facilities contracts of National Office premises in consultation with CEO.
  • Provide support in relation to ICT, Procurement and Capital Developments as required.
  • Undertake projects as delegated by the CEO.
  • Provide support to the Chair and secretariat support in relation to CRA/CRO submission, Board Papers and Board Meetings as required.
  • Act as liaison and minute taker for the Camphill Family Advisory Forum.
  • Event management as required
  • Where appropriate establish and maintain records of attendance, statistical information, annual returns, and any other information as may be requested.
  • To search for relevant information and provide support/documentation in relation to WRC cases, PIAB cases etc

DETAILS OF THE ROLE:

Salary Scale: €47,819 - €57,272 Per annum (based on a 40 hour week)
Location: National Office, Dunshane Camphill Community, Naas, Co Kildare W91 XV5T. Hybrid
Contract: Fixed term 2 years - 40 hours per week – Monday to Friday 9am – 5.30pm
