Description
We’re looking for a sharp, entrepreneurial Executive Planning Leader to consult with us part-time for a 2-3 month project with a commitment of 10-20 hours per week. This is a chance to make a significant impact on our business, shaping our organizational structure and helping us select and onboard an AI-driven planning tool. If you’re a scrappy, strategic leader who thrives on building and improving systems, we'd love to hear from you. What You'll Do You'll act as a strategic partner to our leadership team, focusing on two key areas: 1. Planning Tool Selection and Implementation: Project-manage the process of finding, vetting, and onboarding a new planning tool Lead the evaluation of multiple potential AI-driven tools, starting with those we've already engaged with (e.g., Invent.ai, Retalon, Increff, Sage/Inventory Planner) Coordinate the seamless onboarding of the selected system 2. Organizational Design & Strategy: Advise the Director of Planning on their team's organizational structure and division of responsibilities Support the Chief Merchandising Officer with broader organizational design and division of responsibilities for the combined Buying and Planning functions You're an ideal candidate if you have: Significant Experience: Held a leadership position (Senior Director, VP, or similar) in planning at a medium to large-scale organization System Implementation Expertise: Personally led or closely supported the onboarding of a new planning tool or enterprise-level system Industry Knowledge: Proven experience in an omnichannel apparel and/or accessories retail environment Adept with Technology: Comfortable working with and evaluating AI-driven solutions Executive Presence: Can interact and communicate effectively with executive leadership Project Management Skills: Demonstrated experience managing projects from start to finish Flexible schedule Competitive pay Company Description Huckberry is the ultimate one-stop men's shop for discovering the best gear and threads.
