We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our Policy Services team.
This role will be responsible to support the Benefits & Payments team to handle policy servicing related matters and to ensure a smooth and timely policy payouts.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Diploma/Degree from any recognized institution/university
  • Related insurance qualifications would be an advantage
  • Minimum 5 years of working experience with 3 years of relevant experience in life insurance operations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Flexible and able to adapt in a fast-paced and changing environment
  • Ability to be customer centric
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Meticulous with an eye for details and a proactive attitude
  • Team player
Responsibilities
  • Proactively analyze processes to identify opportunities to enhance effectiveness and efficiency in life insurance operations processes
  • Be the liaison point between the business and the technical analyst in making sure requirements are clearly understood and translated to functional requirements by leveraging on the resources and skill-set within and across work-streams
  • Liaise and work closely with Information System Department in seeking solutions to problems identified
  • Review business requirements for system enhancements
  • Perform user acceptance testing on system enhancements or production fixes and ensure proper follow through of issues till closure
  • Process service requests from customers in order to build a strong foundation on the business processes
  • Ensure relevant standard operating procedure manual are updated on a timely basis whenever there are amendments or updates
  • Supports audit requests, appeals and service recovery
  • Manage team’s email inbox
  • Any other duties delegated from time to time
