Executive - Executive – Process & Maintenance (WTP) Based at Thulhiriya MAS Fabric Park is Sri Lanka's first and only privately owned apparel intensive free trade zone. Its operations focus primarily on the development and value addition of fabrics. The Park spans across a sprawling 110 acres in Thulhiriya and Giriulla, playing a strategic role in the vertical integration of the MAS supply chain as well as leading critical sustainability targets Embark on a journey of change with MAS, by joining the Fabric Park team as an Executive ‐ Process & Maintenance.The role involves in Assist to Ensure smooth shift-operational and maintenance aspects the Water treatment Plant (WTP) & Distribution Piping Networks which includes the River Water intake, Treatment plant process and equipment , underground supply and storage sumps, overhead tank, wells, pump stations, all piping networks , flow regulating valves, disinfection system and facilitates necessary support to the shift teams to maintain a safe and un-interrupted potable water supply Key responsibilities: Monitor, Supervise, Control process operations, oversee adjustments, and operate water treatment facilities to control quality and quantity reliability via adequate processing of water. Monitor and repair all Distribution piping networks, Process Sensors – alarms, gauges, Flow meters and control panels; observe variations in operating conditions; interpret meter and gauge readings and test results to determine processing requirements, while maintain all logbooks. Operate valves and gates, pumps, engines and electric motors to control and adjust flow and treatment processes; perform routine maintenance on filters, valves, tanks and related equipment and facilities. Ensure optimized chemical consumptions. Perform rehabilitative, corrective, and preventative maintenance to structures, and related plant equipment that has failed or to improve performance and expand the service life of the various pumps, control panels, facilities and related equipment. Participate in major Maintenance work, such as disassembling and reassembling of valves, pumps, gear boxes, chemical solution pumps, sludge pumps, water pumps and other related equipment such as equipment in control panels. Conduct all work activities in a satisfactory manner; prevent misuse and abuse of plant property, equipment and resources; use plant property, equipment and resources in efficient/satisfactory manner Knowledge and Skills: Diploma or NVQ or Technical Institute 3 - 5 years of experience in water treatments Work exposure in Large Scale Water Treatment
